Hello everyone, welcome again to udsm academics blog, today we are going to have a look step by step on how you can sign your boom on your mobile phone whether an Android phone or iOS phone. It might be that you don't have a smartphone, don't worry we will also provide a guide by using a website.
Before proceeding let's look on the advantages of signing boom on your mobile phone.
1. It helps to save time.
You are all know time it takes to sign boom by a arranging in the line for more than 2 hours waiting for signing. But using the app you can sign your boom at any time and anywhere.
2. Easy to get your boom.
After signing (especially for those who uses sheets) you had to wait from two to five days in order to get your money but by using the app you can get your money within a short period of time.
3. No disturbances in your time table.
Most of us we were to stop what we are doing and went to sign boom, sometimes you may have a session or personal time table of doing something but you have to cancel it in order to go where they sign boom.
Those are some advantages of this application.
Though it has advantages but the drawback of this method is poor internet connection or lack of bundle. Everytime you want to sign boom you will be required to have an internet connection through self bundle or WiFi connection.

To sign using HESLB mobile App a beneficiary student must
STEP 1.
Register to Didis Plus
This will work to those who have already registered to DiDis system. If you are not registered yet you have to visit our previous post on how to check on allocation. In that website (olams heslb) there is a place where you can register.
STEP 2.
Download HESLB Tanzania Mobile App from Play Store.
For those who are using Android phone, go to play store and search for HESLB app Tanzania. You will see something like this.
STEP 3.
Install HESLB Tanzania App in your smart phone and then open it.
STEP 4.
Login
In login section, enter your form four index number and your SIPA password. You can't register if you don't remember your password. That's why we adviced you to set a password that is easy to be remembered.
STEP 5.
Confirm Payment(s)
Look careful on these images, they are showing how to sign for your boom, if you don't understand asks for help, don't do what you don't know.
1) Tap “Pending” tab
2) Tap “Sign” option
3) OTP will be sent to your mobile number through sms
4) Enter the OTP
5) Tap “Sign Payment” tab
6) A message of Successfully confirmed amount will be displayed and the said amount will be credited to your account.
Those are steps to be followed by those who use the smartphones.
OPTION 2: iphone users
Incase you don't have a smartphone or for those who are using an iphone, you will either ask for your friend and take the same procedures to sign your boom. But the following procedures are for those who use a computer to sign for their money.

STEP 1. Login on SIPA account
i. Open your web browser on your computer and on Address bar write: https://olas.heslb.go.tz/olams/pre-applicantj
ii. Then click “Login as Registered User”. If you are not registered yet you have to register first.
iii. Enter Username (Form four index number). The index number must be ended with your year when you finished form four for example S0000.0000.2020
iv. Enter your Password
v. Click “Log In” button
STEP 2. Payments confirmation
i. Click “DiDiS”
ii. Select “Transactions”
iii. Click “PENDING”
iv. Click “SIGN”
• You will receive OTP on your mobile number, make sure your registered number is available.
v. Enter the OTP (It's case sensitive)
vi. Click “Confirm” button
